British Show Jumping Report – Aramstone Ring

The Aramstone ring once again provided non-stop all-day entertainment for the large crowds visiting the Country Fair in the picturesque setting at Caradoc.

Steve Williams built a stunning and challenging programme of tracks which ensured high class competition for the excellent prize fund on offer and competitors had travelled long distances to attend with 137 entries on the day.

The NFU Mutual Herefordshire Country Fair Championship National 1.30m Open qualifier was won by Suzanne Gill riding Cruise King for which the lovely NFU Ross on Wye & Ledbury Challenge Trophy was presented by Matthew Price of NFU Ross on Wye.

Suzie’s horses are obviously in form as she also took home two further awards: the Orles Barn Challenge Cup for the Senior Foxhunter (sponsored by Spar of Ledbury) which this year was presented by former Olympic showjumper and show jumping secretary of the Country Fair, Alison Dawes: and the Heron Supplies 1.15m Open at the end of the day.
